The standard 1.5L EcoBoost® engine, when properly equipped, can tow up to 2,000 lbs. And don’t forget about hybrid capability because when properly equipped, the hybrid* and plug-in hybrid are powered by the 2.5L I-4 and can each tow up to 1,500 lbs.**
