Today’s leaner, meaner 2019 Raptor is nearly 500 lbs. lighter than the previous generation with its high-strength, military-grade, aluminum-alloy body, but what really sets it apart is the tech underneath. Trail Control™ and our Terrain Management System™ make it easier than ever to do what we do best: take you off-road.
Enhances the existing, proven system by automatically adjusting suspension damping based on the terrain and how aggressively you attack it. Internal bypass monotube shocks augmented with an electronically controlled solenoid valve allow for continuously variable compression damping.
Like cruise control for severe off-road driving, Trail Control allows you to set the off-road speed, with the system taking over acceleration and braking for enhanced off-road trekking. This lets you focus on the course and steering while feeling more confident.
The 2019 Raptor has a high-output twin-turbo, intercooled DOHC 24-valve, 3.5L EcoBoost® engine with port fuel and direct injection paired with a 10-speed automatic transmission that generates a massive 450 horsepower and 510 lb.-ft. of torque.
Dual-zone electronic automatic temperature control provides individual climate settings for the driver and front-seat passenger. Standard in F-150 LARIAT, King Ranch®, Platinum and Limited; optional in Raptor.
The flow-through center console is an essential component of your mobile office. It includes a main storage bin, hanging tray for coin or small tool storage, file hangers, map pockets, a front storage compartment with removable modules for customizable space, two 12-volt powerpoints, and a 110-volt/400-watt AC inverter.
Newly developed RECARO® front seats provide more aggressive styling and seat support thanks to enhanced bolstering in the seat back and cushion. Both front and rear seats are designed with Rhapsody Blue Alcantara® seat inserts with accent stitching. Meanwhile, carbon-fiber appliqués adorn the shifter, media-bin door, instrument panel and doors.

Curve Control uses technology in the standard AdvanceTrac® with RSC® (Roll Stability Control™) to help slow your vehicle down when you’re going too fast on a curve.39
Corner too quickly or swerve to avoid an object and Roll Stability Control automatically employs its two gyroscopic sensors to measure vehicle roll and turning rates. Then the system selectively applies individual brakes and modifies engine power to help keep all four wheels firmly planted. And it all happens instantaneously, faster than you can blink an eye.
39. Remember that even advanced technology cannot overcome the laws of physics. It's always possible to lose control of a vehicle due to inappropriate driver input for the conditions.
